Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to have a website made?
This depends on various factors, such as the size and amount of custom work for your website, as well as how busy I am at that moment. On average, the delivery time is around 1 to 2 months. I want to deliver high-quality and fitting work while also giving my creativity the space it needs. That’s why I don’t make promises to complete a website within a week. At the start of the project, I can provide an estimate of your website’s delivery date.
During the design process, you will need to provide content such as text and photos. Additionally, after various steps, there will be a feedback moment to ensure the design aligns with your vision. This means that the speed of completing the website also depends on your response times.
Can I manage the website myself?
The easiest way is to let me handle the hosting and maintenance of your website. However, if you have experience with this, you are of course free to manage it yourself.
With WordPress, it is relatively easy to learn how to make simple changes, such as editing text. You can also write your own blogs or learn how to add products to your webshop. If desired, I can teach you how to do these things when delivering the website. If you’d rather not worry about it, you can simply leave it to me.
Do the websites also work on tablets and mobile devices?
Yes, the website will be optimized for tablets and mobile devices to ensure it works perfectly on all screen sizes. In some cases, certain elements (such as some images) may be hidden on tablets and mobile devices to enhance user-friendliness.
How many times can a design be adjusted?
That depends on the level of customization you choose for your website and the number of steps in the design process. After each step, there is a feedback moment where you can provide input and approval before moving forward. For a theme-based website, there are 2 steps, for a custom website, there are 3 steps, and for a fully customized website with branding, there are 5 steps. This reflects my personal approach, ensuring there is plenty of room for your input.
How does the payment process work?
I require a 50% down payment of the agreed amount at the start of the project. The remaining 50% is paid upon delivery of the website. Until the full amount is paid, I remain the owner of the website; after that, ownership is transferred to you.
