Christopher from Three Swords Coaching is a coach for men. He wanted a website with a completely medieval style. The goal of the website is to attract clients for his coaching. He wanted to convey strength and toughness, but also wanted room for emotions and a touch of spirituality within his sessions.
It was a challenge to create the website in this medieval style while keeping it modern, professional, and accessible. And also to express the apparent contradiction between masculinity and toughness, while simultaneously incorporating more softness and space for emotions. I designed everything with full customization, tailored to Christopher’s wishes.
Esther built a website for me in the summer of 2023. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, which made designing the site a bit more difficult. However, through her thorough questioning and attentive listening, I was pleasantly surprised by the first version. In the period that followed, with many small adjustments, the collaboration went smoothly. I really appreciated that she came up with suggestions, which made me think about what I did and didn’t want on my website. She also provided clear and honest answers to my suggestions, explaining the pros and cons of each.
